Mathare North

Overview:

Our Mathare North center opened in 2008 after post-election violence in Kenya. Thus, its opening occurred during a difficult time for the country and the families of the children who were recruited for school. Despite a myriad of challenges, the center has grown immensely due to increased needs in the areas it serves. Our goal is to acquire our own, bigger facility to accommodate even more students at the center and provide space for other services, like skills training.
